Winter campfires are the best but winter campfires on a frozen lake are magical!

Winter is my absolute favourite time of year at our cottage! It can be a bit difficult to convey how special it is because people might find winter up north cold and desolate. To me, nothing seems to be more peaceful and magical as walking through the snow, back through the rustling meadows at night after a campfire on the ice with friends and family.
